The neighborhood Bezuidenhout-West is a hidden oasis in the midst of the bustling hectic of The Hague. It is a quiet neighborhood with lots of green. Situated along the A12 highway and within walking distance of the central station, it is also well connected.
This is the optimal location for urban densification. It is part of The Hague Central Innovation District, where highrise is encouraged by the municipality. We developed a design for two towers on this location: one for a corporate investor and one for a spocial housing organisation. By moving the car- and bicycle garage underground, we can free up public space on street level, creating a green square.
