Meaningful Encounters: Our Grand Social and Sustainable Pavilion at Kethelhuisplein During Dutch Design Week

From October 19 to 27, 2024, we proudly present our impressive social and sustainable pavilion at Kethelhuisplein during Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven! In collaboration with our partners, we emphasize that encounters are at the heart of meaningful social design. We demonstrate that design is not just about aesthetics, but primarily about connection and sustainability.

A Collaboration of Creativity and Sustainability

Muzus designs this unique meeting place in collaboration with Urban ClimateArchitects and many other partners. Our design is not only aestheticallyappealing but also sustainable, social, bio-based, borrowed, and circular.

How We Achieve This

  • Trees from The Urban Jungle Project create a green and inviting environment.
  • Green Construction Fences with ivy from Zorgkwekerij Bloei establish a natural boundary and promote biodiversity.
  • Accessible Wood Chips from Good Play Projects provide a safe and playful surface.
  • Sustainable Materials have been sourced and provided by Sloopcheck, with the help of Reusemate.
  • Construction is managed by Van den Hondel Prefab B.V., featuring bio-based corrugated panels from Atlas Acomfa.
  • Materials and Support provided by Laserbeest.
  • Lighting Advice from The Whole Sha-Bang creates an inviting atmosphere.
