We design cities and buildings that are healthy, climate-resilient and future-ready. At Urban Climate Architects, sustainable building is not an ambition. It is our foundation. Every project is Paris-Proof by design and fully committed to long-term decarbonisation. We lead in mass timber construction in the Netherlands, from CLT structures to advanced engineered mass timber systems that significantly reduce embodied carbon. By combining biobased materials with intelligent circular design, we minimise energy demand, integrate renewable systems and strengthen material value over time. From circular renovation and building transformation to climate-adaptive urban design and mass timber residential architecture, we create places where nature and urban life reinforce one another. Paris-Proof and Decarbonization

Our ambition is clear: climate-conscious architecture that accelerates real decarbonisation. We design to exceed Paris-Proof standards from the earliest stage by reducing both operational and embodied carbon.This means prioritising mass timber construction and engineered mass timber systems, integrating biobased and circular materials, designing high-performance building envelopes, embedding renewable energy systems and minimising overall energy demand. Sustainable building gains strength when design, material strategy and urban context work together, resulting in climate-neutral architecture with regenerative impact.
