Sustainable and Flexible Living in the CLT Building — Circular, Green and Future-Proof in Amsterdam (NL)

Functions: Housing, Public Functions

Year: In design

Gross Floor Space: 10,250 m²

This concept provides more than just a home. Thoughtfully designed communal spaces foster social interaction and the creation of real connections. From tranquil spots for relaxation to gathering areas for meeting new people, this is a place built to support genuine relationships.

A Building to Heal

This concept is designed not only to provide sustainable housing but also to contribute to a healthier world by reducing CO₂ emissions and supporting urban biodiversity.

Heart of Wood

We aim for net-zero ambition and circularity: a timber frame, interior walls made from flax, and wood fiber for insulation. Entirely biobased—the building grows back naturally. And it breathes. “Circular: disassemble and reuse.”

Modular Design

The buildings are adaptable and can be disassembled, allowing layout adjustments as needs change. Future-proof. End of life? Nearly everything can be reused.
